LOCAL ACTIONS

Openly Queer Mic is an open microphone-type event designed to give space (and a stage) to the LGBTQIA+ community and those who are allies to the community, for sharing all sorts of personal stories from their own and others’ lives, for sharing music or other creative performances with the audience, for a spark of courage to read your own or your favourite authors’ poetry, or simply to share what’s on your mind and the heart.

We are often organising a variety of events that take place online with the aim to bring closer our international and local community and stay connected, especially during the times of the pandemic. The events vary from queer poetry nights, movie nights or game nights at our discord server, workshops on voguing and more. 

Active Rainbow is part of the TED Circles community where we get to connect with other hosts all around the world and also organize our own TED Circles events. We bring our community together in-person or online to watch and discuss a TED talk - learn from each other and widening our horizons and perspectives on variety of topics.
