From the “RESET” project, we emerged with a renewed sense of awareness—almost as if we had been navigating life with incomplete tools and suddenly discovered a whole new way of understanding the world. The project was more than just learning; it was about reshaping perspectives, deepening our understanding of power structures, and realizing the importance of creating truly inclusive spaces.
One of the most impactful lessons was exploring the concept of safer spaces—not just in theory but in everyday practice. As individuals working closely with different communities, we now feel more equipped to cultivate environments where people feel seen and heard. Learning about nonviolent communication (NVC) was particularly transformative; it reshaped how we listen, respond, and support others, both professionally and personally. The ability to truly hear others and help them express their needs in a constructive way is something we are already implementing in our work.

Another key takeaway was the development of the toolkit. At first, the idea of creating something so structured felt daunting—how do you design a resource that is practical, accessible, and genuinely transformative? But as we worked together, drawing from our own experiences and perspectives, the process became natural. The toolkit was not just a theoretical guide but a reflection of real-life challenges and solutions, shaped by a shared vision for a more just and inclusive society.
We went into the project expecting to gain knowledge, but we walked away with something much deeper—a sense of responsibility. A responsibility to keep learning, to keep questioning, and to keep building spaces where everyone has a voice. RESET was intense, eye-opening, and at times overwhelming, but above all, it was a necessary step in our journey of growth. We are grateful for the experience, and even more so for the change it has sparked within us.
